PSYCHOLOGY UNDERGRADUATE SURVEY

1988 Through 2000

INTRODUCTION

The development of the Psychology Graduate Survey began during Winter Quarter 1993. The primary goal of the survey was to locate and get a general description of the activities of students who had graduated from the Psychology Department. Later it was decided to collect information on a variety of subjects. These students were asked for information about their salary, employment, GPA, GRE scores, and many other areas (see Appendix A).

In the early years of the survey, students were sent a greeting letter and a copy of the survey by mail. This year we expanded our efforts in order to reach more graduates. We mailed the survey by conventional mail and also by email. After the deadline for the return of the surveys had passed, we were able to contact several more students by phone. The results of the 1999-2000 survey are listed, as well as overall information for all previous years recorded.
