Data-Based Decisions
The results of the outcome data have guided decisions within the department. The surveys with current students in capstone courses, surveys of students who had graduated and analysis of accreditation visitor reports were the cause of the following decisions.
A third FTE faculty will be added to the Parks and Recreation Administration program to teach in areas that the Council on Accreditation found to be deficit in. Also a new faculty member has been added in the area of exercise science. This faculty member was transferred from an extension based program and has become a permanent member of the on campus faculty.
